Hey, everyone! My name is Gabriela Antova and I am a WGM/FM with a peak rating of 2335. Originally from Bulgaria, I currently live in the United States where I attend Saint Louis University. I am an experienced chess player, and more recently, a coach, so let's grow together! Ambitious and passionate, I seek to improve my game and ~yours~ should you choose to work with me! I have been playing chess all my life, ever since I started at the age of 6. I have been consistently ranked among the top players of my age worldwide being a 5-time medalist from the European youth individual championships and a bronze medalist from the world youth championship. More recently, I am a member of the best collegiate team in the United States that won the 2022 Pan-American championship and the 2021 FIDE World University Online championship. I also represented my country Bulgaria at the 2022 FIDE Women's Chess Olympiad in Chennai where my team placed 9th with me scoring 8.5/10 on board 4. As of now, I hold 1 IM norm and I am currently trying to climb higher up on the women's world rank list.

Fully individualized approach. The focus is on YOU and what YOU need to become a better chess player. We are going to review your games, see what you need to advance further and work to fix it. I am patient and dedicated and here to help you improve on any area of chess you need: be it openings, middlegames or endgames. Specific prep during tournaments? Yes, I can do that that for you as well! Additional exercises/ homework? Only if you are up for it!
