Ultimately, if you care about obscure French and Spanish authors, there’ll be a lot of interesting stuff in here. Amusing enough, I suppose, an extended wry reflection on a particular attitude toward literature presented in the form of footnotes to a book that hasn’t been written; given the contents of the footnotes, one might at least feel grateful for that.
